The Louisiana state tea towel features towns, cities, the state capitol Baton Rouge, as well as some of the prominent bodies of water and land in the state. What sets this state illustration apart is that I've included the state's indigenous people and the areas they first inhabited. The original tribes included the Caddo, Tunica, Natchez, Atakapa, Houma, Choctaw, and the Chitimacha. Other tribes moved through the area but these are known as the original inhabitants.
